Apply for a visa for Vietnam in person at the Vietnamese Embassy in the United Kingdom. Remember to schedule your visit beforehand to avoid any problems. The processing fee must be paid in cash. If you cannot visit the office, you can also deliver the documents by post.
You cannot apply for a Vietnamese Tourist Visa by e-mail. The Embassy's official website will update you if the situation changes, but the electronic application is currently suspended.
The standard processing time for a visa to Vietnam is around seven working days. In the document, you will find more details about its validity period and the exact expiration date.
If you do not have time to apply for a Vietnamese visa in person, you may choose the online e-visa application. All you need to do is fill out the appropriate visa registration form and cover the fees. Information about the visa approval will be delivered to you electronically in a few business days.
On arrival to Vietnam, you should present your valid passport and a printed visa approval notice to the immigration officers. Only a visa stamped by the officials will allow you to cross the national borders.
